Prof. Ali Khomsan added, various studies show, pycnogenol grape seed contain collagen as an amplifier for the elasticity of blood vessels (anti aging) and skin of wine was rich in flavonoids with higher antioxidant power than Vitamin C. Through laboratory tests, grape juice proved able to stop production of the hormone estrogen in cells. Recent studies using mice that were planted tumor cells showed that rats fed 0.5 ml of grape juice for five weeks, the tumor size only a third of the mice not given the grape juice.

Furthermore Khomsan say, eating grapes can be done by eating the fruit directly. “But it can also be in the form of juice or via powder (extract) derived from real fruit juice,” he said.

However, it is common knowledge, including the type of fruit grapes are expensive for most people in Indonesia. The price of a kilogram of grapes can reach tens of thousands of dollars. Thus, not all levels of society can taste the grapes.
